SalahForFalah is a convenient and simple app for Muslims to determine their prayer timings and Qiblah direction. This app locates nearby mosques and displays them on map for easy lookup. Users can also set prayer and fasting alarms based on their preferences.
Determining Prayer Timings and Qiblah Direction
SalahForFalah automatically determines the location of user and calculates the prayer timings, based on their preferences. It guides the user to pray in the right direction by aligning in the Qiblah direction. An easy-to-use compass indicates how far is the device from the direction of the Qiblah. Prayer timings are available on the same screen as the Qiblah direction for easy reference. A current prayer bar indicates which prayer should currently be offered. The alarm feature allows setting of alarms for each prayer. A dedicated alarm can be set for Friday prayer, which will alert for Friday prayer instead of Zuhr on that day.
App Features
Qiblah Direction
Determines the current location of user and sets the direction of Qiblah according to that.
Prayer Alarms
Allows setting of alarms for each prayer. A separate alarm can be set for the Friday prayer.
Prayer Timings Calculation
Indicates which prayer to offer currently with the help of a bar. Time for sunrise is also indicated.
Fasting Alarms
Voluntary fasting alarms can be set that will sound a number of specific hours before Fajr.
Hijri Calendar
Have the option to display dates using either the Hijri or the Gregorian calendar.
Mosque Locator
Searches for all mosques in the location typed by user and displays them on a map.
